Virtual
Service
Many problems encountered by computer users, both
business and home users, are problems related to
software issues, configuration problems, viruses,
spyware, adware, malware, and a host of other issues
that are not hardware related. These problems, in
many cases, can be fixed by a technician "Virtually"
visiting your computer and fixing the problem.
There are two basic
things that need to be present for Virtual Service to
take place. First, the user must have a working
internet connection, and second, the user must be
willing to allow a technician to enter their computer
from the outside. This access is granted when the user
downloads and installs a license free software called
Virtual Network Computing (VNC). If VNC is not
installed on your computer, or is not activated, then
access to your computer by our technician or anyone else
is not possible.
Virtual Service is
a secure means of fixing and/or troubleshooting your
computer without having to make a physical trip to your
location. Below are the basic steps in conducting
Virtual Service.

Steps to Perform Virtual Service |
Begin
Virtual Service |
- The customer
follows a link to a form from which they will
provide billing information and also provide their
"Digital Signature" guaranteeing that they will
pay for the service.
- After
completing and submitting the form, the customer
is directed to printable pages that provide them
instructions on downloading and installing VNC.
- After
installation, the customer provides our technician
with the IP address of their computer (in the
instructions).
- Our technician
accesses the customer PC and diagnosis and fixes
the problems. After the problem is fixed,
the technician will email an invoice to the
customer, and while still having access to the
customer PC, will receive the email and print the
invoice on the customer printer.
- After the
invoice is printed, our technician will uninstall
the VNC software from the customer PC, delete the
VNC set-up file, and then re-start the customer
PC. Service is complete.

Virtual Service is billed at the
rate of $45.00 per hour for home or business users.
Most service will take one hour or less, but in the
event that service last more than one hour, time
over one hour will be broken into 30 minute
intervals.
If the Virtual Service Technician
was unable to fix the problem, you owe nothing, and
an appointment will be made to visit your location
should you choose.
